Zombies hijack a cruise liner
January 25th 2010 23:57
Travellers participating in the ship’s entertainment suddenly find there are zombies on board drowning them out. A dream, this illustrates today’s church, drowning because of individualism.
We Christians are at risk whenever we think we are alive like Adam, because this makes us walking dead! Instead of walking in the Spirit of Christ, we become zombies joined with the spirit of death, whose deception makes us cry “oh my god” to the god we think is in spiritual control.
It’s far better to cry “Abba Father”, which we only do spontaneously as reborn sons walking in the Spirit of Christ. New Testament writer Paul tells us our old man is dead since Jesus died on the cross. Jesus died as the last Adam and, since God considered Him worthy, He was resurrected by the same Spirit in whom today we are reborn brothers and sisters.
In this the church age, the word of God proceeds from His mouth via us in the church. Next is the millennium age during which all the “wiseheads” speaking outside of Christ will be put to open shame.
The raptured overcoming believers will be co-kings with Christ to put the spirit of death into the lake of fire. Then God’s desire can come – His eternal habitation with mankind where the church is progressed into the glorious New Jerusalem. That’s a process both for mankind and God.
Readers, you can use the internet to check any of the above points googled together with “recovery version bible”. This kind of research* is fast and can tell what others think.
Alone we are prone to thinking amiss. To hit the mark in Christ we need to bring it to each other. One way is by commenting on internet-published articles in http://religion.orble.com.
Another is by mingling at a local church. I’ve never been to the Randwick one here in Sydney before. Maybe I’ll see you there.
* Here’s a research example from googling “Mathew 25:34” and “recovery version bible”:
“Then the King will say to those on His right hand, Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”
Cross reference (with own added words in brackets): Psalms 37:22 For those blessed (by being in Christ) will inherit the land, But those cursed (by staying outside of Christ) will be cut off.
Recovery Version notes to the above:
1. After the judgment at Christ's throne of glory, the "sheep" will be transferred into the millennium to be the people living under the kingly ruling of Christ and the overcoming believers (Rev. 2:26-27; 12:5; 20:4-6) and under the priestly ministry of the saved Jews (Zech. 8:20-23). In this way the "sheep" will inherit the (coming) kingdom. In the millennium there will be three sections: (1) the earth, where the blessing of God's creation will be, as mentioned in Gen. 1:28-30; (2) the nation of Israel in Canaan, from the Nile to the Euphrates, from which the saved Jews will rule over the whole earth (Isa. 60:10-12; Zech. 14:16-18); and (3) the heavenly and spiritual section (1 Cor. 15:50-52), the manifestation of the kingdom of the heavens, where the overcoming believers will enjoy the kingdom reward (5:20; 7:21). The kingdom that the "sheep" will inherit consists of the first section.
2 The blessing of the first section in the millennium, the blessing of God's creation, was prepared for the "sheep" from the foundation of the world, whereas the blessing in the third section, the blessing of the heavenly and spiritual kingdom, was ordained for the believers before the foundation of the world (Eph. 1:3-4).
